I have done a Big cave painting on A3 paper. 
The picture tells a story about how the tribe hunted for food. It Shows the cavemen using bows and spears for catching fish in rivers and animals on land such as deer and buffalo. I also dabbed it with wet tea bags to make it look like an old cave wall! O.C.
This is very authentic looking and i just about managed to stomach the graphic savaging of a caveman by that sabre-tooth tiger! Grrr!
