We are going to write our Christmas food menu for the Grinch!
Here is a video with Miss Housley explaining everything you need to include in your menu!
Remember to include :
- correct layout features of a menu!
- powerful adjectives to describe your Christmas food! (Can you extend this further and include expanded noun phrases in too?)
- Healthy balanced Christmas foods and some sweet treats too!
- Check your spellings and try to keep your writing as neat as you can!

It’s on ITV at 5:20pm if you want to give it a watch to link to your topic work!
For topic this afternoon, can you design and add more detail to your menu for the Grinch that you created this morning?
You could create a front cover to make your menu really stand out!
That includes adding in some line drawing images of the Grinch in Dr Seuss style, a creative border and some drawings of your foods you have chosen!
Can you draw some of your food in the line drawing style, sticking to 1 or 2 colours for your designs?
Can you add a line drawing style border around the edge?
