Topic:

What are Natural Disasters?

Can you read the information and match the description to the correct Natural Disaster?

The main aim of the activity is for you to discuss and justify why the photograph matches the disaster. Some photos could fit more than 1 so what are your reasons for the one you think it is?

I will set up small meeting rooms on the Teams call so you with have a few classmates to discuss your ideas with.

In our books, put the title Natural Disasters.  (Use your line guide!!!). Choose your favourite 3 pictures and explain which disaster you think the photograph is in your own words.

You can stick in the pictures if you have a printer, draw them yourself OR use the letter for that picture (if you click on the picture I have given each one a letter of the alphabet)

Remember, when we explain, we explain like we are talking to someone who has never even heard of a natural disaster!
