Today is the second lesson in our final maths unit of decimals. You have worked so hard the past few weeks and you should be really proud of yourselves, keep it up for our online learning! Remember, hard work pays off!

SPaG – IT’S COMING HOME!!!!!!
Well, what a weekend ahead! England will be playing in the European Championship FINAL. The first final England have reached in 55 years, since the World Cup win in 1966.
Since then, managers have been hired and fired, players picked and dropped, games won and lost, but the quest for another big showdown has always ended in failure until the arrival of Gareth Southgate and his squad at Euro 2020. Just Italy stand in the way… COME ON ENGLAND!
Can you write a letter to Gareth and his boys, explaining why he should bring football home?
Let Gareth Southgate know what it would mean to you, your family, your friends, the whole of Barnsley and anyone else you can think of!
You could even sneak in some song lyrics… it’s coming home, it’s coming home, it’s coming, football’s coming home.
Once you have finished your writing, you can practise the National Anthem. This is what the players and everyone involved will be singing just before kick off. Stand up proud, and belt it out!

I have also uploaded the Year 3 and 4 spelling word list. You can pick some of the words and practise writing them in sentences or you could draw them, similar to how you do in school with Mr Crouch on a Tuesday.

It is time to design EXACTLY what your video game machine will look like. What size and shape will you choose? What materials have you got in mind? How will people instantly recognise the type of game and the theme you have gone for? How will it be played? What is the input method? How will you make it work? Can you design some money-making merchandise that you and your team could make?
